Paint the sky, make it yours

Wesley and I took a special trip to London to visit Sky Garden, which is London's highest public garden located at the top of the "Walkie Talkie" skyscraper (officially 20 Fenchurch Street). Entry to Sky Garden is free but visits must be booked online at least three days in advance. On arrival, we had to queue before presenting our tickets and verification of identity. Once we passed security screening, we took a superfast lift to the 35th floor.

Sky Garden offers a panoramic view of London as well as an open and vibrant place of leisure. The garden itself is nice, but it's the spectacular views that makes it a worthwhile visit. The area is spacious and it's not overcrowded thanks to advance booking. There is an open balcony that offers an impressive view, overlooking the Thames with the Tower Bridge to the left, the Shard in front and the London Eye to the right. The only downside is the slow service at the bar, which could do with expansion and more staff. Overall I definitely recommend a visit to Sky Garden because who doesn't like a free attraction that offers a spectacular view of London.

"Even after all this time the sun never says to the earth, 'You owe me.' Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky"

The food looked good and the prices were reasonable, but we were too full from lunch, so we opted only for drinks.
