London Photohunt

Nov 30, 2013
Last Saturday, there was a London photo hunt, which was organized by the National University Photographic society. This event brought together the photography society from different universities. Everyone was split into groups of 5, each of us came from different universities and had a different level of skills. Not only was I the only girl in my group, but I was also the only person who was not very good at photography. Never mind, I'm glad to have guys who were really good at photography in my group and were enthusiastic. We had two lists of items to complete: one was themes and the other was to find list. There were 30 items to find on the list and we managed to find all the landmarks within the time yay.

I didn't take many photos, partly because of my limited photography skills, but mostly because I was too tired and cold to hold my camera. This trip has taught me a lot of things, especially with photography and how I need to improve. I really enjoyed the day since I had never explored London like this before. Luckily, my university is a train away from London so I can go there easily.

"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved."

  2. London looks beautiful! It's definitely a place I would like to travel some day in the future. Aww, I'm sure you'll improve in your photography skills with time. Sounds like such a fun experience you went through. If only my university classes had something fun like that at least once during the semester, haha. x
