Cluttered thoughts, clouded mind

It's been a while since I last blogged and the reason is that I've been preoccupied with revision for my final exams. As much as I wanted to "fuck it all" (a reference to the viral student parody of "let it go"), I can't afford to fail first year and certainly don't want to resit exams. So I tried my best with revision, but I'm still disappointed in myself, because I know I could have done so much better if I didn't leave everything to the last minute. If you asked me how the exams went, I don't know how to answer that and only the results in June can tell.

I finished my last exam four days ago. After my exam, the plan was to go to sleep because I was feeling tired after waking up at 5am to revise, but then I decided I'll go to Staines with my course mates instead. We watched "Bad Neighbours" and I found the movie to be quite lame unfortunately. Then, we had Pizza Hut, and I indulged myself with cookie dough and ice cream as a post exam treat. Before we took the bus back to university, we went to the river, and it was a nice place to talk and relax. The next day, I went to Kingswood to catch up with friends. I used to go there nearly every day, but since Easter, I've been staying in my room in Founders revising. That night, we watched Confession, it was such a great Japanese movie with all the plot twists and I thoroughly recommend it.

Summer time fun begins now and I'm really looking forward to it. For those who still have exams, I wish you good luck and keep working hard :)

  1. hi there! I totally get where you are coming from about exams. I hope you did okay. The good thing about first year is you have next year to improve. :) Best of luck with time management and working towards your goals!
