On Yee
Like a wild flower; she spent her days, allowing herself to grow, not many knew of her struggle, but eventually all; knew of her light.

Wherever you go, go with all your heart

Last post of the year is dedicated to the few days when Wesley came to Birmingham. Day 1 was spent having dinner at my grandma's place, whilst day 2 and 3 were spent exploring in Birmingham. The schedule for day 2 and 3 are almost identical where we explored the German market, shopped at Bull Ring, went to the library and walked on the high street. The only difference was that we watched the Paddington movie on day 2, which I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend to watch.

Maybe I've been living here too long, but I feel there aren't many places to explore or many interesting things to do in Birmingham. Maybe there are such places or things but I have yet to discover them. Afterall it's named in the "world's top ten cities", which is debatable since I find London far more interesting.

"Where does it all lead? What will become of us? These were our young questions, and young answers were revealed. It leads to each other. We become ourselves."

Day 2: Brunch at York's Bakery Cafe, an independent coffee shop. Convenient location just off Colmore Row.
Food: 4/5, Price: 3/5, Service: 3/5, Atmosphere: 5/5

Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market and Craft Fair.

High street.

Day 3: Brunch at Five Guys. The regular portion of fries was more like a large portion of fries for 4 people, and so we didn't finish it.
Food: 5/5, Price: 4/5, Service: 3/5, Atmosphere: 4/5

Night view of Birmingham, viewed from the library.

Birmingham library. Probably the most beautiful library in England.

Dinner at Wagamama. The restaurant wasn't busy so we had our own private table. Everything tasted good apart from the rice, which was so salty :(
Food: 2.5/5, Price: 3/5, Service: 3/5, Atmosphere: 4/5
