043-046 / You light the spark in my bonfire heart

Mar 18, 2015
At the beginning of reading week (which was over a month ago haha), I visited Wesley for a few days. On the night before I left to go to see Wesley, I prepared my valentine's gift to him. Wesley loves drawing, so I decided to gift him a sketchbook and personalized it with a drawing. I stayed up quite late personalizing this gift, and so I skipped lectures the following day since I knew I wouldn't be able to focus, and headed straight to Colchester. That evening, we had dinner at Viet Kitchen. We had a lovely time there, partly because we basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves, and partly because the food and service were great. For valentine's day, we had afternoon tea in town and returned back to uni for the evening. Wesley cooked steak and we watched "Before I go to sleep", which was a good thriller film. While I was washing up dishes, Wesley prepared candles arranged in a heart shape and a card, which was so sweet of him. Funny thing is he didn't realize I washed the dishes really quickly. and when I walked into his room, he was not done yet and made me wait outside haha. The next day, we went to town again, only to buy cute Donald and Daisy duck tsum tsum plushies from Clinton. Before that, we had brunch at East Coast diner, and the food and atmosphere were lovely.

Sorry for the irregular posts. Last week has been rather stressful with four days filled with doing practicals. This week should hopefully be better as I have no more practicals (completed my last practical last week) or practical reports to write (handed in my last report earlier this week). But I still have a quiz and a group presentation left to do as well as the mountain of lecture notes to catch up with...
