I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells

It's been a while since I last blogged but now I'm back! The overwhelming exam stress in April and May has prevented me from blogging. Majority of the second year was spent worrying whether I will pass and/or whether I would get my choices for third year project. Last Wednesday, the pass/fail list came out and I passed all my modules. Also, the following day, the third project allocation list came out and I got my first choice. I don't exactly know how well I have done until the full results are released on the 8th July, but I'm happy with the current results and it's sufficient to keep my mind at peace for now.

June was spent having fun, which helped take my mind off from exams. I attended the summer ball in University of Essex with Wesley and his friends. It was a really fun night where we took photos and videos, went on fairground rides, played games such as human table football and sumo outside, and roulette and black jack in the casino. The summer ball atmosphere was incredible and I can't wait to attend the summer ball in my uni next year. On the other days, Wesley and I explored places, including Sky garden, Windsor, Brighton, and all of which I will blog about this month.

To end this post, I'll be sharing pictures from the few days I relaxed with Wesley before starting exam revision back in April. On one of the days, we went to have afternoon tea at Wivenhoe Hotel, where we had a selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and pastries served with tea. On another day, we went to The Company Shed in West Mersea along with two other friends to have seafood. If you are visiting Colchester or if you are a University of Essex student, I highly recommend to visit these places because the food and the staff are excellent.
