Because you are alive, everything is possible

Feb 23, 2016
"You will feel pain, sadness, discomfort. But you will also feel alive, exuberant, human. Sometimes you will fuck up and make mistakes. You are going to fail, be misunderstood, get ragged. You’re going to get tired. But you are also going to realize that it is okay to fail. You will be telling yourself to rest on days you lack motivation, feel the ugliest, or have the smallest of hope, but you are going to acknowledge that giving up won’t be your best option. You are most likely going to lose yourself in the process, but you are also going to find yourself there. You are going to create something for yourself and for the people you love. You’re going to tear yourself into pieces pursuing after what you want, and learn to love yourself for it. And it will be the best damn thing ever" - Credit to ThoughtCatalog

A few weeks ago, I read a ThoughtCatalog article, titled "Read This If You’re A 20-Something And Feeling Completely Lost". This article popped up whilst I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, and I didn't hesitate to click on it because I fitted the description of the title so well. Reading this article had a strong impact on me; it reminded me that it's okay to have turbulent feelings, and that giving up is not an option, and the best thing to do is keep going and trying, no matter how difficult things get.

Recently, I've been experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety and feeling unhappy. I completely forgot about this article until today when I saw it on my draft post. Opening up to a friend and reading this article again has really helped me feel a lot better. I just need to keep going and trying.

I'm going to take a blog break to focus on studies and come back in June. Unfortunately, this will mean my new years resolution of blogging every week will be a failure. Then again, I don't think it's right to blog for the sake of a new years resolution without having the right mindset. I promise I will make up for all the lost blogging when I come back. Until then, I wish you all the best and good luck to all students :p
