Barcelona 003 / All glory comes from daring to begin

Sep 23, 2016
The third day of our grad trip was spent on the Barceloneta beach. Before we went to the beach, we visited the Picasso museum. Although I do not know anything about art, I did enjoy learning about Picasso's story and his art works. Back to the beach, it was the most relaxing part of the grad trip. We rented two parasols and we each did different things, such as sunbathing, reading, swimming and talking. I didn't bring my camera that day because I wanted to enjoy being on the beach without the fear of losing my camera. You can see a picture of that day on my Instagram. That night was our second time to eat out. Initially we thought we have chosen a good restaurant until we found two dead flies in our tap water glass jug. I secretly googled the restaurant and it turns out it has bad reviews on TripAdvisor. Luckily the food wasn't too bad and nothing bad happened. Lesson: do research on restaurants before you go!

Whilst we were on the beach, we met two good looking guys. They were promoting a nightclub event happening that night to us, but we kindly rejected them since we had plans the next day and we don't want to tire ourselves out. One guy said to us that "you don't come to Barcelona for the Gaudi shit, you come here to experience Barcelona life". Guess what, our plans the next day was all about Gaudi haha. My favourite attraction that day was Park Güell. We stayed there for around 1-2 hours and it was definitely not enough, so next time I would reserve at least half a day there. A picture is worth a thousand words, so here are the photos of the fourth day of the trip :)
